[BM] Aku Sayang Kamu

Semalam saya kongsikan gambar di sebelah ini di laman sosial FB & Twitter sebagai peringatan untuk diri sendiri dan juga orang yang saya sayang (the one who is dear to me). Sesiapa yang sempat membacanya, maka anda adalah antara orang-orang yang saya sayangi.

Geli? Janganlah..

Tak ada apa yang perlu rasa geli gelemannya bila saya zahirkan kalimah 'sayang' itu. Perkataan sayang itulah yang mendekatkan antara dua pihak yang berjauhan. Ia mengikatkan dua hati yang berinduan. Ia jugalah penyebab terbentuknya silaturrahim sesama kita.

[BM] Kau Bukan Lilin

Takkan kusetuju lilin sebagai kiasan
Katanya baktimu korbankan diri,
Masaku dahulu kau telah beri kesan,
Generasi baru kau jua yang memberi.

Andai lilin itu ibarat dikau,
Butalah jelata bila dipadamkan,

[BM] 13 Mei bagiku

Dengan nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah lagi Maha Mengasihani,

Cukup-cukuplah aku berharap akan isu perkauman sempit yang saban hari dilaungkan oleh orang yang mengimpikan huru-hara. Dek kerana laungan mereka mencetus kegelisahan mereka sendiri. Tiada apa yang perlu dirisaukan peristiwa 13 Mei 1969 dahulu berulang kembali, melainkan puak ini juga yang rindukan sangat hari itu menjadi.

13 Mei 2013, Perlukah Berulang?

Aku tak maksudkan isu politik negara dalam teks kali ini. Aku tak maksudkan soal huru-hara sejarah lama. Aku maksudkan peristiwa yang dilalui kami sekeluarga. Pinjaman Allah diseru pulang kepada-Nya. Ayah kesayanganku, menyahut seruan itu.

(Iaitu) orang-orang yang apabila mereka ditimpa oleh sesuatu kesusahan, mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kami adalah kepunyaan Allah dan kepada Allah jualah kami kembali." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 156)

[Eng] Pray for Change, Ini Kalilah

It is the 13th General Election for Malaysia, and I couldn't participate in casting my votes. Sadly to say, perhaps it is my own fault to try registering to the representatives.

The first one while I was renewing my IC due to change of my postal address, this particular lady who was doing her job to update my status, she said it could be done via online in Electoral Committee website (Yes, at that time, the lady from the National Registration Department did says it is possible).

Apart from already log in to the web which says it couldn't, I took her saying as a form of what she had been briefed before. Then a journey to the Post Office, yet another lady from said it's too late to register, just because rumours said GE13 will be happening on March 2010. No did she handed me the registration forms.

Who am I to blame? 

Again, emphasizing my fault that is, for not able to walk directly to Electoral Committee office when I had my chance upon returning home for my short holiday due to that 'Arab Spring' came to Egypt at February 2011. 

Easier said than done? Yes.

There should be made compulsory for those who wanted to pursue in medical or any health care profession to be well-informed or have a written consent before they started their med-school. I'm sure that this book is one of them.

Some might have been drawn in by tv series about doctors life (which probably did each and every doctor wannabe would have kept all the episodes), but does it really shows what does real one really think of?

A personal view well written by a surgeon (intern and attending), a woman and a mother.

[BM] Soal itu

Apa pernah dibiarkan hilang kuasa bicara,
       Tatkala wujud masih kudrat di sisi,
Bila mungkin sampai ke telinga,

       Tatkala engkau tandus mencurah bakti,

[Eng] Hearing aid

We do know what hearing aid is. The true purpose was to help people who are unable to hear sound which travels through air (this is important, as we could only use this medium to hear properly) due to his/her conducting and/or perceptive deafness.

As technology and urbanization evolves, we, the young generations has become the pioneer towards psychology and medicine (especially ENT) findings. We contributed to a great era by developing a new subtype of deafness of which we call 'Selective deafness' (other information about this is in here, here and here). 

Yes, we have made an opposite of usage of an aid by creating subtype of deafness which I would call it  Hearing Aid Relative Deafness, or HEARD. Before we continue, forgave me for all intentionally annoying puns I've made through out this article.

[Eng] Ignorance Never a Bliss

Knowledge is a gift to those who appreciate it. We might memorizes information or heard (or perhaps read) about news. Some of us may have stored abundance of sources and obtain various (educational) degrees of which we majors in.

The same goes to one who bears nothing. Puzzled with the term 'Ignorance is bliss' which quite more often said to those who didn't know about the truth.

(note: the correct usage of the phrase - often better not to know about something unpleasant, something that you say which means if you do not know about a problem or an unpleasant fact, you do not worry about it)

Few things comes in my mind:

1) Should not knowing about Addeen or Religion be blissful?
2) A misinformed or misdiagnosis of a cancerous tumour or disease became pleasant?
3) Not knowingly our own (present/ future/ ex-) spouse cheating or our own sons/daughter lost their virginity, to some person we know could sustain domestic interaction?
4) Unknowingly being tricked by media which covering the bad side of government create peace and harmony?
5) Our own financial crisis being kept secret to our own-self by someone who knew provide good future trust?

Should the truth came as such, doesn't it better to be well informed so that we could manage these obstacles instead leave it be?

We need to know regardless other said it as unpleasant. Either a good or a bad news, it should be the one who accepts it first.
