[Eng] GE13: Racial factor to be abolished

This is my first time writing about politics. Never been an interest of mine to discuss any sort of issues regarding to our recent events & our previous background in this field.

Politics in Malaysia brought me to a level of worries of that would make our people become more racist & insensitive than ever. This is just my observation through our own mass media either the mainstream or the alternative one.



The Malaysian political environment has evolved drastically, perhaps ever since DS Anwar Ibrahim being acquitted for sodomy (the first). From then, people from both parties struggling to ensure winning in each election.

But unfortunately, there is some of the supporters still play the dirty card consist of mocking, threats, vandalism, gangsterism even spreading nauseating rumours to put the opposition in the bad side of the road. Yes, from now on, I'm declaring on voting The Pakatan (especially, PAS) for the next general election.

The most important reason that made me to support this coalition as they've made a change in converting racism as reason for voting into good governance. This will bring Malaysia (federal government) or any part of its 12 states(state government) towards more multiracial multicultural country safe for either race or culture to continue their existence.

I really hate the idea of racism. Why does it makes someone being more superior than others just by looking at his/her colours or facial criterias? No one can choose to be born as a white, black, yellow, red, pink nor brown. They only could make the difference only if their parents or the mother gave birth & lives in a country that serve people equally.

So, to purpose towards the matter of equal treatment, we need the government who really willing to change the mentality of their citizens. No racial threats, no white supremacy (or in Malaysia - The Malay Supremacy). Each and everyone could perform their daily activities, their religious views, their cultural art forms and not to be worry of disturbances because their differences.

The long ruling government BN, perhaps has became really old to judge the political scene of this new era. Still playing with racial issues & comments while in the same time bluntly accuses the opposition as the reason of disunity.

Despite declaring becoming first world mentality, some of Malaysian representative (parliamentary or states legislation) never brought the move into action. Throughout the world, many countries has tried to eliminate racial as a factor of inequality; even to prevent genocide not by war, but the treatment they've recieved in order to get same benefits as anybody else.Others would respond by respecting one who show their respects to people no matter what their background is. Because of the matter, these representatives have lost my respect.

Look at any countries that have multiracial multicultural citizen that has set good examples. Or even better, look back on how our Prophet (pbuh) have made change after the Hijrah. He proposes to unite Auz & Khazraj then Muhajirin & Ansar. He mentioned that no one nor colour is better than the other except having Taqwa. Then even allows other religion performing their own beliefs without any restraint.

If the so called Islamic State that BN is now governing, than why are there news & stories about inequalities even after 55 years of ruling. So, why not gave the Pakatan to contribute & show their talents on good & transparent governance for the next 13th General Election?

If democracy we choose, then, choosing own race as factor of voting was never part of it. If 55 years we've gave but still reduced to a third world mentality, than it is time for change. With one condition, give The Pakatan their 5 years duration of conduct to contribute & fulfill their manifesto.
