[Eng] Your Beautiful Smile

I'll be happy to see the smile of my parents throughout the day. It shows that they are still living a happy life. Might there be some frowns and grunts, but as long as it doesn't involve another family members, I would say it will pass as the bitter sweet of life as we goes on.

Harmless but contagious

While family & close friends gives sense of happiness in between us, it has almost similar to one that we doesn't even know. Whenever I walk-by someone and saw they smile (whether as a compliment, polite attitude or unintentional) it provides a reflex sense of appreciation. Thus you smile back.

Other contagious human behavior that I know is laughter & yawning (some might add psychic vomiting, but this doesn't count as harmless). While former might end up with smiling, but sure never the latter. Of course you wouldn't want others to lead a boring environment by spreading yawn away. Unless sleep deprivation is the global pandemic.

It is human nature saying "I'm happy". Smiling to an infant put a giggle to the toddler. Never did he/ she learns from their parents, it is pre-programmed by The Creator. Showing His love to mankind, plus connecting between human and among them.

Smile during happiness & through sadness

Alhamdulillah, praised to God that sadness could be shared but not affects the comforter. Greatest (& free) medicine that could be given at that time is good memories & moments to be remembered. Gives some enlightenment to others by warmth yet caring smile, ears that listen & shoulder that will ease away some sadness & sorrows. This is how most women cope the matter whenever they were sad.

Men sure less likely to seek a shoulder to cry upon. How we cope most of our torned a part heart is seeking our own packs that provide smile & laughter. Yes, some might never leaves their home and build up more negative energies. But a social animal like us, as long as there is another human being, will continue to connect and seeking positiveness.

Smile is charity

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." - Al-Tirmidhi.

The Prophet also said: "Every act of goodness is charity." - Sahih Muslim.
Why charity has anything to do with smiling? As our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) once said:

"Charity is prescribed for each descendant of Adam every day the sun rises." He was then asked: "From what do we give charity every day?" The Prophet answered: "The doors of goodness are many...enjoining good, forbidding evil, removing harm from the road, listening to the deaf, leading the blind, guiding one to the object of his need, hurrying with the strength of one's legs to one in sorrow who is asking for help, and supporting the feeble with the strength of one's arms--all of these are charity prescribed for you." He also said: "Your smile for your brother is charity."

The more reason why smiling is to be put in every faces of mankind, the more happier & better community will be.

So when was your the last time you smiled?
